Martellotto Winery Guided by Corporate Social Responsibility

Martellotto Winery Guided by Corporate Social Responsibility

Wine lovers, are you socially conscious? Do you prioritize spending money with companies that promote corporate social responsibility (CSR)?  Consider Martellotto Winery.

According to University of Washington Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility, CSR is “a process with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders . . .”

For example, almost 90% of consumers prefer to buy from a company that supports an issue they believe in.

About 75% won’t buy from a company if they disagree with the company’s position on an issue. (Research from Cone Communications.)

Companies focused on giving back to their local communities in positive ways have more success. Consumers impressions of a company’s social commitment translate into purchases and loyalty.
